Scott Bishop (born 10 November 1974) is a football goalkeeper from New Zealand. Bishop played for Wigan Athletic in the English second division but an injury sustained in a training accident kept him out of football for an extended period. He had previously suffered a similar injury while playing for Central United in New Zealand.[1] Bishop later played a single game for the Football Kingz in the Australian National Soccer League.[2]
Earlier in his career Bishop was selected for the New Zealand under-20 team in 1992[3] and the under-23 side in 1996.[1]
Scott also represented New Zealand as a schoolboy in an athletics international.
The Kingz were beaten 2-1 by Adelaide United in his sole appearance.
